Dr. Floyd was very helpful ,very knowledgeable and professional

I waited over 3 hours to be seen and was essentially overlooked by my provider. Very dissatisfied and will probably look elsewhere for this pregnancy.

I'm super morbidly obese, so I was so afraid to have my gyn visit for fear of being judged or making the staff uncomfortable. It was a good experience.

Once getting into a room I sat on the table prepped for my examination for an hour. Then once the doctor came in she proceeded to tell me that I did not need to complete an examination. It was also my first time seeing this doctor. Then when going to get blood to be tested they took forever to send the request. The lab tech had to request this multiple times before being able to draw blood. Upon leaving I was supposed to receive a form to be able to request my documents to be transferred from one doctor outside of UAB to UAB. They did not give this to me, and I did not remember it until back at work. I now do not have a way to request this to be completed. During my visit we had discussed stopping birth control to move to a different medication. I have yet to receive a call about this to be picked up. I do not believe it was ever sent. Very frustrating visit. The doctor was very apologetic and kind. However I got the sense that there was a lot happening, and chaos happening in the office. This did not leave me with a sense of confidence that I was being taken care of or even that my information moving forward was truly documented.

Love the promptness in service and loved the physicians patient relations...very professional..

My recent experience at UAB OB/GYN WMNS was great! The staff at check in was friendly and quick. Trumaine, the CCMA who did my intake, was very kind and thorough and Anna Floyd, CNM was very knowledgeable, professional and patient during the appointment. I was in and out in about 45 minutes, all of my questions were answered and I felt comfortable throughout the entire experience.

My nurse practitioner was absolutely amazing. She walked me through the IUD insertion process and made me feel very comfortable. She is one of the best providers I have ever had.

I love the care from the providers!! The only reason I didn’t give them a 10/10 is due to the difficulty I’ve had trying to get in touch with scheduling appointments and also with the billing department. The billing department is very difficult to deal with.

Everyone was very helpful and thorough. The midwife, tech and phlebotomist I saw answered all my questions and were amazing.

Dr. Floyd was so compassionate and understanding. It's rare to feel heard and understood in medical settings and she helped me feeling completely at ease and like she really cared about me as a person. That is so important and I'm very appreciative of her care and support.

Great experience!

I am a new patient, the doctor & nurse were great. I was expecting to be a little longer than usual but my wait was a little too long. I had to report back to work.

I had 2 appointments (one with OBGYN and one with mammography/Radiology) but I was not signed into both appointments when I checked in at the front desk (even though I explicitly asked if I need to be at the assigned suite for both appointments). Also, the person who I was seeing for my OBGYN appointment was a few minutes late in showing up to clinic, which ended up being ok, but my stress in making sure I finished my appointment in a timely fashion was compounded by additional stress due to delays in the 2nd appointment since they did not know I was there and waiting for an extended period of time. It would be nice if the coordination of multiple appointments was more consistent so that patients can move through their day more efficiently.

This was the first time I have had been to an obgyn clinic and somebody really listened to my concerns and took my pain seriously. I almost cried just from the fact that I could tell somebody believed me. I got a follow up call the next morning, less than 24 hours after my appointment to let me know more information as well.

I am so thankful to have the options to see midwives at UAB!
