Yes, the doctor that I saw, Dr. Kumar, was very good. She knew what she was talking about. She was able to give me answers and she was very compassionate and caring. And that's why I probably will stick with her as my gastrolist. Thank you.

Staff members were very impersonal and made it their decision to make decisions for the doctor instead of conferring with the doctor. Did not like that.

It was a good experience, the service there was excellent. I am completely grateful to all the staff, and especially to the doctor who treated me. My procedure will continue, and I'm finally much more at ease. Thank you, Hackensak Hospital.

I was grateful to meet with Dr. Kumar. She was very helpful. She provided me with essential details and information that I needed concerning all the questions that I had with my health at this present time and even explaining the solution she prescribed and even future procedure as well and provided me those details. So I'm very grateful for Dr. Kumar. I appreciate her patience and her kindness and her willingness to talk everything through with me and answer all of my questions.

She was very polite, she was very thorough, and she made me very at ease, which was very important to me. I have seen so many doctors in these past several months that she was very, very pleasant. And yes, I would recommend her to anyone. She's a professional.

Dr. Kumar recommended that I go to another doctor for a test and when I called they told me that I needed to come in for a preliminary meeting with the doctor before a test and that's not what Dr. Kumar said. She did indicate to me that she would have her office follow up and make sure that I didn't have to go twice and since that conversation I have not heard from either office. Otherwise, my appointment went well. Thank you.

Yeah, I'm just a little confused about I can't reach the doctors through my chart and no one at the office seems to know how to do that. And it would have been helpful because I had a non-emergency question to ask afterwards. Also, I supposedly have an appointment for an endoscopy, but it's not on my chart and it's no place indicated that I actually have the appointment. So I'm wondering if the doctor office has a different way of communicating other than my chart. Thank you.
