Dr. Andrew Berdy is extraordinary. The time he took to ask good questions and listen to my answers was amazing. His explanation of the surgery he could do to make my heart function properly was very easy to understand and he gave me the confidence to want to have it done. I have never had a doctor take the amount of time that Dr. Berdy took to make me feel comfortable with choices to make my heart better. Our community is very fortunate to have a physician of his caliber practicing at BJC at Belleville Memorial.

Dr. Berdy gave clear information as to what to expect with the procedure. He also laid out a plan to see if another procedure that is less invasive may work instead. I felt very comfortable with the steps he laid out.
