I rarely leave negative reviews but I think it’s important in this instance given our disappointing interaction and experience with Dr. Wexler. We took our four year old to see Dr. Wexler based upon her glowing reviews and as such, were expecting a doctor that was top notch with kids. The appointment got off to a bad start the moment Dr. Wexler entered the room. Most notably she failed to introduce herself upon entering the room and went straight into the exam. Going to the eye doctor can be a daunting experience for a small child and Dr. Wexler did not try to establish any type of rapport with my daughter whatsoever. Again, she didn’t even introduce herself. Dr. Wexler also failed to explain what she was doing before she did it in terms of the exam and this was especially notable when she went to dilate my daughter’s eyes. There was no explanation of what she was doing and why. Overall, I do feel that my daughter received a comprehensive eye exam, but the bedside manner was lacking tremendously. Perhaps Dr. Wexler was having an off day, but regardless, our experience was unpleasant and we won’t be returning back to this office for my daughter’s annual eye exam next year.

Dr. Wexler and her staff were absolutely amazing. She made my son feel so comfortable and she was patient and kind. The tech was friendly and joking around with him as well. You can tell when someone knows how to work with kids… Dr. Wexler and her team were made for this! My son now has someone who cares enough to ensure that his vision issues are addressed and he walked out of there smiling knowing he is about to have a world of difference in his vision. Thank you so much Dr. Wexler!

The best Ophthalmologist !
My son has cerebral palsy. He’s been seeing Dr Wexler since he was 6 months old … he’s 28 years old now. She’s the only doctor that he allowed to check on his eyes.

She’s one of the best in pediatric ophthalmology field. Her report with my daughter is great. Her experience and professionalism is superb. I recommend her to my staff and parents in my school district.

I drive a little over an hour to take my kids to Dr. Wexler. she is the best doctor around and that’s why I travel a distance to see her.
