What else would you like to say about your experience?
I'm writing to share how disappointing my recent experience was, and to be upfront that it's the reason I'll be seeking care outside the Saint Luke's system. The appointment itself provided no value. My test results were barely discussed, and my concerns weren't listened to. Instead of engaging with what I'd actually asked about, the physician assumed my issues were caused by overeating and told me I should eat only around 1,000 calories a day. When I pointed out that I run three to five miles a day, and live an active life, rather than reconsidering, she doubled down and affirmed that I should still eat that little.
On top of that, she made comments that felt condescending and dismissive. I was told things like people "don't understand how big portion sizes are," that there are "800 calories in a Starbucks drink," and remarks about "how big a McDonald's portion is" — none of which had anything to do with how I actually eat. She said these things to me while I was visibly crying, and continued to double down when I tried to reiterate my concern and that I don’t eat the way she was assuming. When I raised a specific, serious concern — that I hope to get pregnant in the future and was worried about specific antibodies in my results affecting pregnancy risk — that was brushed aside too, with a dismissive "lots of things can cause issues getting pregnant."
I left with no answers, no plan, and none of the follow-up testing that was supposedly the reason the visit was required.

Dr . Holman is a conscientious and caring person. I hold her medical advice in the highest regard. But also, she has a warm and engaging personality. She takes her responsibility to her patients with the utmost seriousness and I feel very fortunate to have her as my primary physician and caregiver.

Dr. Hulman saved my life by recommending a test to check on my blood flow to my heart. I had 70 percent blockage on my heart! I had a procedure and now I have never felt better! Dr. Hulman caught this, when my other doctors didn’t notice the signs!
I really believe in her medical abilities!

I've been going to Dr. Holman for years. I had a chance to switch to another doctor when she went to MO and didn't practice here in my town, but I stayed with her. I've never been treated bad by the staff.

As I have been treated with quality and excellence by Dr. Holman since the first time I met with her in Leavenworth, KS years ago when she began with this practice, she continues to give me care that goes above and beyond what most other professionals I experience in the medical world today.

I thank Dr. Holman for allowing me to see her the same day that I called to discuss my health issues since I did not have a scheduled appointment for that day. Dr, Holman ordered several tests that were performed promptly during the same appointment, and the results were posted promptly with her comments on Saint Luke's PortaI the same day. I felt very well taken care.

While Dr Holman seems very nice and competent, she tends to talk about herself far too much. To the point where I don't believe she is fully focused on the task at hand.

The visit was good but the follow up after a CT scan was not good. I've called several times since having the scan results for 5 days and have had no one return my call about follow up after the scan
