Amy is the best health care person in this rural area. She's very good, very personable and her assistant Trish is, too. But everybody is so busy in the health "care" industry I am about to not care about myself as much as I approach 80 years.

Overall, I do like Amy. She's intelligent and answers questions directly and politely. I do also get the feeling she believes she's looking out for my best interest. However I think there's room for listening to the Patients needs/wants more. GLP1's affect many aspects in a persons life. When they are on a program that is working well for them, trying to reduce dosage after only 1 year is not in my opinion a good plan. There has been way too many life changing benefits. It is my belief It should be MY call when to try reducing the dosage, with prescriber guidance of course to help guide me. My cariologist also advised me to stick to it because he couldn't believe how much improvement i have made and people who go off of it statistically revert back quickly. I personally don't care if I'm on this medicine the rest of my life. I can afford it thankfully, and I am more interested in keeping my health where it's come to be at.

About the only thing I could suggest is she could offer more encouragement to her patients when on a hard weight loss program when progress is being made. It’s a minor thing but that’s about all I could comment on. Keeping going on a weight loss program like this with heavy diet and exercise is hard and takes encouragement.

Sometimes it seems that there is not enough time to discuss all the many health concerns that my husband and I have from one visit to the next.
