Amy was very rude to me. At one point she went to feel my lower back and her hands were cold so I jumped. She asked if that hurt, so I was trying to figure out if it hurt or if it was just from her hands. She then said "well if it takes you that long to answer it must not hurt." VERY rude!! Also kept saying that I just had a pulled muscle. I know when I pull a muscle or not. I will not be coming back to Mercy as it is very cold and uncaring. Her nurse called and was very rude too!! Would not answer my question. Just repeated what the provider had said. Very sad how they treat people. I left the clinic crying!

Part of the fault of this poorer experience was mine. I was not in a good mental state that day and was struggling to communicate clearly. At the same time, I felt my physical concerns were brushed off as all related to my mental health/anxiety, and I did not appreciate that. Dr. Fulton has always been very thorough with me and my family over the years. Generally she does a great job of working to listen to my concerns and addressing any misconceptions I may have with solid medical advice. I did not feel that way at this last checkup.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Fulton and establishing care with her. I had heard nothing but wonderful things which is why I chose her. She spent so much time with me and even reviewed my history the night before my appointment (impressive). She is very kind, has great bedside manner, made me feel so comfortable, and explained everything!

I will be looking for another primary care physician. I am new to the area, MercyOne and this doctor. I wanted an MD and prefer female physicians and got an appointment as a new patient quickly as she was taking new ones. She did not impress me as someone very caring.

She pays very close attention to everything you say and picks up on possible health matters you obliquely happened to mention but might not even be aware of. She offers related information and advice easily and thoughtfully. Worth her weight in gold and appointments are always pleasant. Her staff likewise, always pleasant and efficient from reception to phlebotomy. Best doctor and clinic to be hoped for.
