I needed help getting my medical records from Huron Gastro. Danielle called and asked them to fax them to her and see printed them out for me and put the results in MyChart

A very enjoyable encounter.
Only problem was that it was not clear what to do immediatly upon entering the building; no receptionist, didi not see sign in the next doorway to enter. Other staff members were VERY helpful.

Amy shows kindness and patience. I never feel like she is in a hurry and doesn't have time to properly visit with me. She explains everything so that I fully understand what I need to do. I feel that she is genuinely interested in me as a patient. She is knowledgeable, and I highly recommend her; you will receive superb care.

Amy is the best. She has great suggestions and is very helpful with ideas of things to try to overcome my problems. My sister always comes with me and Amy is always open to her ideas as well.

Patients' thought processing is slower so the provider needs to acknowledge and adjust accordingly

Amy was very patient, and examined both ears fully. She showed concern for me having had on-going sinus issues, with little assistance from my previous PCP.

I never feel rushed at this office. Although a tremendous effort is made so I can understand instructions sometimes they are hard for me to understand but thats what the aftercare summary is for.

The scheduler offered me a next-day appointment for CT scan; I may just have been lucky that another patient had to postpone. The initial appointment with Dr. Bakalar on Jan 10 needed a wait of about a month.

She explained why my doctor would want me seeing her.. At first when my doctor gave me the paperwork to go to the Senior Care, I was very upset with het.. I thought she just did not want to deal with a Senior Patient.. Amy explained that was not the reason, and why she thinks its best for me to see Senior Care..

I am becoming discouraged with this practice. Did not know it was one doc and few assistants. Do not feel they want to assist in my husbands progressing dementia. Thought there would be more input instead of just saying it is progressing. I know it is I live with him. Gave them a list of items progressing since they saw him last. As I said I am discouraged

Staff took time to answer every question I had and provided info zi had not received in the 10 years since my husband’s diagnosis. Excellent!
