Just love Amber!! She’s thorough, smart and listens. I had the same Internist at St Luke’s since 1994. She retired so I was desperate to find another internist. All of St Al’s doctors weren’t taking new patients so she was available. So happy that happened. PA’s are just as qualified.

She’s the best!!! I’ve gone to an Internist for the last 30 years. She retired and found myself looking for a new one. ALL Internests in St Als are not taking new patients so I agreed to a PA. I’m so glad I did. Love her!!

She seemed rushed, in a hurry. There is part of me that doesn't quite think she gets me and where I'm coming from. Everyone is an individual and can't just put people in the same box. My insurance won't pay for the weight loss medicine and there are cheaper alternatives that she is unable to provide or offer me another medical professional who could.

Amber Hackenberg is extremely, caring, knowledgeable, and listens attentively to my concerns. I've never felt rushed at any time when I've seen her over the 6 1/2 years that she's been my primary care giver.

The only thing is I wish Amber were available on more than a couple days a week but it's usually not an urgent matter, so I can live with her schedule and am glad that she makes her role as a mom a top priority
