Amanda always made me feel she was interested in listening to my concerns ,questions and patiently explaining the reasons why she and Dr Yunus were doing the procedures and ordering my meds . They are both knowledgeable in their field !

Amanda is an empathic, caring, and knowledgeable provider. I really appreciate that she also wanted to review our plan moving forward from this appointment (on whether or not to continue Eliquis) with Dr. Yunus. She promptly called me back later in the afternoon with their shared recommendations.

There have been a lot of changes at MCVI. It seems more automated and recently I felt less “important”. That is not how one wants to feel when dealing with the health of their heart. I do however love Dr. Yunus and Anne Marie. These comment do not refer to Amanda directly. She did a fine job.

Amanda explained in great detail the nature of my current Afib problem and how it is different from the Afib condition I had 9 years ago. She outlined the possible treatments for my present condition in great detail and in language we could understand. She informed us of the testing needed prior to making decisions on further treatment. She said she will consult with and inform Dr. Yunnis about my case.

At first I was very upset,I had to wait so long for the 1st appt. then it got changed to a month later, and not w/ Dr. Yunis,but with his PA. I felt unimportant and scared, with my heart problems,having to wait!!
