I suffer from severe “white coat syndrome,” and Dr. Prieto always takes the time to calm my nerves and answer my questions precisely. He’s been treating my Afib for several years now and I respect his honesty and experience. I wouldn’t see anyone else but him.

This was my first time seeing Dr Prieto. He was very nice and very kind, I just felt like the appointment was rushed and not important to him. He had mentioned I was in the beginning stages of afib and this was the first I had heard that phrase used in my diagnosis. Without realizing it, my appointment had concluded and when I was recapping the information in my head, I didn’t quite understand what that meant. I will take responsibility for not asking, but I wish a bit more time had been spent with me about the plans for my loop recorder and if he sees me continuing on blood thinners. Dr Ambesh had said the loop recorder was to come out in a year and if no additional episodes of afib occur then I should come off the Eliquis. So I guess answers to these questions will come at my next appointment in March 2027.

Dr. Preieto has always been great, but on this particular day he seemed very rushed, I know this is somewhat par for the course with most doctors today as they are overworked, but I would have liked to spend more time with him.

We are so fortunate to have Dr Prieto as our doctor. He always takes time to listen to us and answer all of our questions. We never feel rushed, and we always leave his office with a smile on our face, knowing we are in good hands.

Other than seeing him briefly for my actual cardioversion, this was really the first interaction I had with Dr. Pietro. He was friendly, efficient and answered our questions even before my wife and I could ask them. Very personable, made us feel at ease. Only minor quibble I could have was the appointment seemed slightly rushed. He had come in the exam room while his nurse assistant was doing her thing in taking my BP and O2, unhooking the EKG leads. Made for a bit of a cramped conversation for us.
