Dr. McLawhorn explained every step of my surgery and recovery, and use the utmost patience, guidance, professionalism, and care whenever I met with him and spoke with him. He has such a wonderful bedside manner, I chose him because he did the surgery for my close friend and she was so thrilled with his care that I wanted the same! And I got it! I am very happy with HSS Hospital and all the staff and I am thrilled with Dr. McLawhorn care and professional professionalism.

I have recommended Dr. McLawhorn to multiple people based on my two experiences. One person I referred had both hips replaced with Dr. McLawhorn and another friend is making an appointment soon.

Doctor Alexander McLawhorn is awesome. Great doctor, did wonderful surgeries for my bilateral total hip replacement, very understanding, extremely caring, and friendly. His staff are great also. I already recommended Doctor McLawhorn to three persons looking to have hip surgeries.

I have no idea how skilled Dr. McLawhorn is as a surgeon, but I do know that my recovery has been eventless. Everything has been as he described or better. I equate results with skill and for me, Dr. McLawhorn has delivered excellent results and as such, has demonstrated excellent skill.

Dr. McLawhorn is very knowledgeable and has excellent fine motor skills, an exceptional skill you want in a surgeon. There is a beautiful piece of artwork on his office wall in Manhattan and the Office Coordinator told me that he drew it. So he is an exceptional artist as as well as a craftsmen who does high volume surgeries.
