As a long-time patient of HSS who has undergone numerous surgeries over the years, I can say without hesitation that Dr. McLawhorn stands out. I have never met a physician who is so genuinely caring about his patients.
In an industry where things can often feel clinical or rushed, Dr. McLawhorn is a breath of fresh air. His patient-first approach ensures you never feel like "just another number" or rushed during an appointment. He takes the time to clearly explain both your condition and the necessary corrective actions in a way that is easy to understand.

I had my left hip replaced in 2022 by Dr McLawhorn and now I'm following up with Dr McLawhorn to replace the right hip. He is the best Dr in the world.
