Here's a 76 year old person (me) being told to have procedures he did not think he had to have nor have any idea of why and walk into a meeting where I had sent doctor a not through my chart stating that I was there to understand why I was there. And Doctor proceeds to tell me he doesn't read any notes prior to visit and just moves forward as if I'm ready to do whatever he has in mind. He may be right, but it just adds more fear in the situation.

Dr llanos, we are paitients not a cash register so please enegage with your patients and try asking if there are any worries or concerns and dont be afriad to just put the pen down and talk

Very professional BUT the wait time was unacceptable. Plus I was not told it would be so long. I waited in the room 45 minutes after being brought back.

Sometimes the provided can seem withdrawn or disintersted. Absorbed with reading past notes or making new ones. Other times he can be razor focused on patient

From the minute he walked in I had the feeling he was angry with me, which makes no sense. A very limp handshake and no eye contact. Said I should have waited to see the cardiologist I had seen before or my internist. Didn't care that I was there because the ache in my leg was keeping me up at night and I was worried about it.

The provider was and always has been an arrogant person with a massive ego. Seemed more interested in providing "tough love" than actual compassionate care. Did not make much eye contact during the visit as he was more concerned about looking at his computer screen and giving notes to the attendant who was also in the room. His "treatment recommendation" was essentially "make some lifestyle changes." He did not seem interested in discussion or other matters.
