The provider is extremely friendly, he is very knowledgeable, he checks everything which is good,he follows up on our test results and explains what we have to do or prescribe medications, the only issue is it takes months to make an appointment for check up. I hope for emergency he will be available right away.

I've been seeing Dr. Kolessa since he started at HUMC Geriatrics. He is the first doctor I have had since childhood that I feel at ease with and complete;y trust. I feel he is exceptionally qualified and an outstanding addition to HUMC.

I was very impressed with Dr. Alexa der. He dealt with me directly.Usually I tell my concern to someone else, then I have to tell the doctor all over again. He was very thorough and spent more than the usual time with me.It was a very good experience.

Just to comment on Dr. Alexander Colessa, this is the most or the kindest, gentlest doctor I've ever had. He's kind, considerate, listens carefully to everything you say as a patient, and is very concerned about your health. I could not be happier having him as my geriatric doctor after all these years. I thoroughly enjoyed my visits with Dr. Kolessa, as I always do. He's very thorough and he takes the time to answer many, many questions that are related to my health issue each time and to offer advice on certain things. It might be better to do it this way, it might be better to do it that way, that type of thing. So every time I enjoy my visits with him. Thank you.
