Dr. Befeler knows my history. He is being proactive with my labs being off and I will be getting labs again in a week. He is investigating if I have a new disease showing its presence through labs.

Dr Befeler is amazingly responsive and thorough. He is not only brilliant but also perceptive, caring and a clear communicator. His patience and level of caring has given me clarity on my journey with chronic liver illness. I feel so thankful to have the SLU team caring for me, and my 13 year old daughter and I pray for them to have the wisdom and energy needed to continue to serve as the outstanding providers they are.

Dr. Befeler takes the time to listen to how things are going with me. He makes recommendations and then backs them up with the reason for each. A very competent man, and I feel great confidence in his advice. Also, his nurse Cathy does and excellent job of tracking my status in MyChart ,,, and she is just fun to talk with!
