I had a severe UTI at my visit prior to this one. I did not have this when I scheduled this check-up appointment where an ultrasound was done. I wanted to get a urine test to determine what antibiotics I needed for this infection. I was told by the check out person that they could not do this and I needed to go to an urgent care. In an urology office for goodness sake.
Dr. Gilbert is a very good Urologist. I appreciate him and his nursing staff. But his office staff need to be looked at.

Dr. Gilbert and the entire staff were friendly, courteous and extremely professional. We are very new to the area and, so far, are very pleased with finding the necessary, competent help for our medical needs.

I am so grateful to always have an excellent experience with Dr. Gilbert and his team. He is a highly skilled surgeon, who also takes the time to hear my hope for full remission from cancer. He is so efficient, but never presents as rushed. He takes time to discuss the present intervention and treatment plan for the future. I am grateful for his care.

He has always had very good bedside manners, he also comes in the room and shakes your hand when he enters, and when he leaves. He comes in the room and take a seat and listens to all your questions and concerns. He doesn’t make you feel like he’s in a rush to get to another patient room. He handled one patient at a time making the visit very seamlessly and professional and make you feel like he actually cares.

See previous response. Others we talk to agree. The procedure is far too invasive to be handled without anesthesia. Although the literature indicates that it’s done, that doesn’t convince me or others that it’s the right thing. The experience was extraordinarily painful and frankly humiliating.
