I was accompanied by my wife, a retied nurse with experience at St. Joseph Medical Center when [staff] was practicing. That means she is aware that cardiologists might still be overly cautious in treating patients without frank angina symptoms (as is the case with me). We were both pleased that Dr. Tala listened sympathetically to my complaints.

I am so fortunate to have Dr Al-Talib as my cardiologist! She is not only very knowledgeable and thorough, but personable and works with me (not at me) to treat and monitor my cardiovascular health. Dr Al-Talib is an excellent cardiologist. She identified a possible blockage in October 2024 which resulted in exploratory surgery and surgical intervention resulting in implant of my first stent. This cured the extreme pressure in my chest. She has since treated my chest pains, arteriosclerosis, and poor family cardiac history. I am grateful that she is my cardiologist.
