Dr. Aina is an excellent physician. He is considerate and attentive, addressing concerns and questions in a thorough manner - then follows up with appropriate care and treatment.

Besides being very friendly and caring he takes his time and listens to what the patient's have to say. Then he goes over everything.

Dr. Aina seems like a perfectly good doctor but he is not the right doctor for me. Without asking me about my diet and exercise, he had his assistant copy a message I need to eat better and pursue a low starch/low sugar/low fat diet. Considering my A1C and resting glucose are fine, I would have liked a chance to discuss this. Instead I’ve been referred a nutritionist. He also has not given me clear guidance on how to stop using Zepbound, and told me to stop my blood pressure meds cold (that was not a good idea and I got a very bad headache from it).

I find Dr. Aina to be a good fit for me. He orders all the necessary tests to keep an eye on things but doesn’t go overboard. It works well as someone who doesn’t have a lot of health concerns. I can’t really comment on how he’d be for someone who does.
