My mother was in AFib when she arrived for her appointment. The doctor was very nice and joking with my mother before sending her to ER for further treatment. The nurse in the office was very nice and joking with my mother about the 2 glasses of wine my mother drinks each evening after dinner. The follow up instructions from the ER listed alcohol as a risk factor for AFib. I wish the nurse would've said something along those lines instead of joking with my mom about her wine consumption "it must be doing something good" because my mother would take it more seriously if it came from the nurse.

Dr. Shahvander makes it a point to make you feel relaxed. He definitely is one of my favorite doctors. When he heard, I was having a problem other than my heart, he immediately walked out of the room and contacted the doctor and had them contact me.
