Dr. Shanley has been my neurologist for many many years. Even though I have moved, I still come to see him in Fort Lauderdale. It’s a four hour round trip for me. But I would never give him up as my Neurologist. The man is awesome!

Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback for this survey. I have lived in Fort Lauderdale for 54 years and Holy Cross Hospital has always represented excellence in this community. I have been treated at Holy Cross, as have my sister and her family, my parents and my own family which includes three boys, all born at Holy Cross. The renovation of the facilities has been wonderful, especially in the ER. The Dorothy Mangurian Women's Center and the Phil Smith Neurology Center have both been incredible additions to Holy Cross. In all of my years I have interacted with many physicians at Holy Cross Hospital. Some were excellent, some were satisfactory and honestly, there were those who were less than satisfactory. Dr. Abraham Chamely at the Phil Smith Neurology Center is by far and above the absolute finest physician of all. He is beyond excellent. As an expert in his field of neurology, his comprehensive knowledge of the brain and its neurological workings in the entire body is impressive; superior, in fact, to every other neurologist of whom I have been a patient (including those not affiliated with Holy Cross). Dr. Chamely is remarkable. He listens and he understands. He is thorough and caring. He has never rushed an appointment with me, and he has answered every question I have asked. As a physician, Dr. Chamely exemplifies what every physician at Holy Cross should be. I do not know, but I certainly hope that he is the head of the Neurology Department. If not, he should be! Many younger and less experienced physicians would benefit from his knowledge, his experience and his professional demeanor. As a patient of Dr. Chamely, I know that I am receiving preeminent care. It gives me great comfort knowing I am in the care of this distinguished physician.

I trust no other for my migraine care than Dr. Chamley. Simply the best!!
