Wonderful on every level with an excellent sense of humor

Dr. Basu was kind, professional and listened well to my concerns. He was appreciative of the records I brought with me. He was gentle with the procedure and explained as he proceeded, explaining and asking if I was in pain. He had suggestions for me diet.

Dr Basu performed a colectomy on me in 2012. I credit him with potentially saving my life. He continues to monitor my 'colon' health with me over the years. Good to know that he is there for me.

I needed to be seen by Dr Basu because of a serious issue was having at the time. I was given an appt to see the Dr two weeks later. Apparently, Ms Monique got wind of the serious issue I was having and called me back approximately five minutes after and told me she will make an appt for me to see the Dr sooner, which she did. It showed she cared
