Staff & dr. spent a fair amount of time covering old details of care & explained this way my 1st visit under a new computer system. They handled it well.

*Dr. Swanson seems highly competent, but does not engage easily w/patients. Upon entering the exam room, he barely muttered hello then stared/worked on his computer for 7+ minutes, apparently updating my health record on a new system. I have come to expect the lack of engagement as it is his personality and I can deal with it, but many patients would be put off.

The provider didn't seem interested in any of my symptoms. His recommended that I work out 30 min a day despite me telling him that I work out 2 hours a day every day. He also ordered labs and never called me to explain my abnormal results. He sent a prescription in to the pharmacy for my high cholesterol without informing me. I only found out because the pharmacy called me to tell me my Rx was ready.

*Dr. Swanson seems to understand prescriptions & medicine well. He didn't realize [medication name] is VERY BAD FOR me. I've discontinued it. Bladder problems & infection.
