Born with spina bifida myelomeningocele 73 years ago, I have been to many doctors. Gustavo Alameda is the best neurologist I have ever seen. First not many understand the situation due to my age. (they know about babies) He was kind, thorough and had a deep understanding of my 2 medical situations. He actually consulted with the doctor that read the three MRI's. Except for Dr. Uhline (Mayo Clinic in Rochester- when I was a baby)who repaired my spina bifida, this was the best experience I have had regarding my current situation.

I went there for second opinion about ALS. Never read any of my medical records. He judged me on taking certain meds. I wasn’t there for that and I won’t put up with that. He knows nothing about my history. I will not ever go back

Dr. Alameda is an outstanding physician in all respects: insightful, clear on explanation, caring, sense of humor, great listener as well as speaker. I am VERY fortunate to have him as my neurologist - he's the best.

Greatly appreciate the time Dr. Alemeda took to examine and diagnose my illness. He recommended another specialist in the field who deals with Parkinson’s disease. Hope to get more info after that visit.
